Necklace NK 20A05

Stunning necklace of sterling silver and elements of silver, acrylic parts inlaid with mother-of-pearl, pearls, grey facetted engraved mother-of-pearl and a pendant inlaid with on one side engraved white bone and on the other side inlaid with engraved tiger eye. The length of the necklace is 85,0 cm, the length of the pendant is 6,0 cm and the width of the pendant is 4,0 cm.

This necklace forms part of our collection H2O. Inspired by the work of the German zoologist, naturalist, philosopher, physican, professor, marine biologist and artist Ernst Heinrich Philipp August Haeckel (1834-1919) we created the H2O collection. He discovered, described and named thousands of new species, mapped a genealogical tree relating all life forms and coined many terms in biology. His detailed artwork was the starting point for the engravings of sterling silver and stones. Used materials are beautiful vintage stones, tiger eye, bone, onyx, pearls and mother-of-pearl.
