Impressive sterling silver necklace with elements of silver, horn, hematite, engraved mother-of-pearl, vintage glass parts, Bohemian crystal and engraved wood. The length of the necklace is 89,0 cm.

This necklace forms part of the collection Metropolis. The Amsterdam School emerged in Dutch design around 1915. This movement broke with rational techniques and allowed the frivolous use of ornaments. Initially an architectural style, later also used in applied art, interior & graphic design. In the same period, film director Fritz Lang created his masterpiece Metropolis. His view on the future and the Amsterdam School designs are the inspiration for our Metropolis collection. The materials used are sterling silver, vintage glass, engraved wood, mother-of-pearl, onyx, jade and agate.
